Our clients are an award winning multi-discipline consulting engineering practice; providing engineering design solutions for projects across water, waste, buildings, chemical, energy, nuclear, renewable's and transportation sectors.
They are currently looking for enthusiastic Graduate Mechanical Engineers to join the team in North West area. The successful applicants will enjoy working with a multi-disciplined design team producing detailed designs for standard and bespoke systems. Consequently you will become involved in the production and review of detailed drawings and calculations using a variety of techniques from finite element analysis, stress analysis and Mathcad calculations to 3D model viewing tools and CAD design software. This involves working closely with the project teams, designers and engineers to produce optimised, cost effective solutions.
Graduate Engineers become involved with the projects at all stages from tender through to detailed design. They visit site to carry out survey work and liaise with clients to communicate and agree the designs.
The Graduate Scheme involves one to one mentoring, where training is bespoke and tailored towards the individual, enabling you to progress quickly towards Chartership. The goal is to help you take your career to the highest level.
Applications are invited from Mechanical Engineering Graduates (or those due to graduate by September 2013) who have achieved or are currently studying towards a minimum 2:1 Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering (M.Eng preferred) or other closely related subjects. Experience of Autocad, FEA and pipe stress analysis would be useful but not necessary. You should be a good problem solver and effective communicator who possesses flexibility, initiative and enjoys a varied role.
